Mozdivers Zavora opened for business on the 18th of December 2008 as the first full dive centre in this area and the first dive centre offering technical diving in Mozambique.

Professionalism, expertise and the ability to offer more than standard recreational dive facilities are what sets us apart.

Being an IANTD facility with tech qualified staff, we are able to cater to more experienced and qualified divers at their own level, giving them the opportunity to dive outside the recreational envelope.
That being said, we were all novices once! We have an on site training pool, classroom and miles of inshore reef accessible to novice divers. Web can teach user friendly PADI courses from Open Water to Dive Master and are a registered PADI centre.
Zavora Marine Lab has been another big factor in what sets us ahead of the pack. We have been lucky to work with the lab and founder, Yara Tibirica, since the very early days. Baseline studies were taken on reefs before any diving impact had been possible and this information is constantly being updated, providing real information on potential diver impact. Yara also helps us develop sustainable diving practice so we can enjoy our recourse without damaging it.
