Again, part of the Deep Reef System, Sonho Profundo (Deep Dream) consists of a wall running from North to South and turning inshore at the Southern end to run East West, the top of which is around 32 meters and the sand bottom lies at 48 meters. This site is in fabulous, pristine condition and because of the depth it has only been dived by a select few. For the truly adventurous there is also still plenty of scope for exploration in this area. As well as the usual abundant life you would expect on the Deep Reef System, this site has many large bush and fan corals. Cleaning stations on the top merge into a macro packed wall to a sand bottom dotted with colourfull, large corals. Blotched, jenkins, eagle and manta rays have all been seen cleaning and this is definitely shark country!

As with all the decompression dives available here in Zavora, this site is only for those with suitable experience and qualifications. If you are not qualified to dive to this depth and undertake planed, stage decompression, ask the staff about a course!
