This dive site was named after a magic ancient anchor imbedded into the reef. This mysterious anchor has its illusionary powers and only some divers are able to see it. While the anchor is hiding in the reef, manta rays are often seen swimming slowly and pit stopping at the “cleaning stations” to remove parasites from their big shark bites! Believe it or not, over 78% of our manta ray population has big bites! Keeping the scar clean is very important for the health of these giants, seeing the “fish doctors” in action is an incredible experience.

Vasco’s is adjacent to Witches Hat and part of the same greater reef system, rich in big and small animals.
